"Your day": see what to do first today

A short daily plan at the top of Home, written by AI from your work, emails and client portal – what to do first, who you're waiting on, and what's at risk.

In short: At the top of your Home page, next to the greeting, ✨ Your day shows how many things need you today, for example “3 to do first · 2 clients to chase · 1 at risk”. Open it for a short plan for the day, worked out from your firm’s work, client portal and emails.

Before you start

  • “Your day” only shows when AI features are turned on for your firm (Settings > Firm Details > AI features).

Open your day

  1. Click Home in the left menu.
  2. Click Show my day on the purple line.
  3. Read the short summary at the top, then the three lists:
    • Do first: up to 3 work items that are overdue or due in the next few days, with the reason (for example “3 days overdue”).
    • Waiting on clients: up to 3 clients you’re waiting for. That could be work in a Waiting status, a signature request not signed after 7 days, or reminder emails with no reply. Click Email to write to the client (nothing is sent until you click Send), or Open work / Open client.
    • At risk this week: up to 3 work items due by Sunday that may be late, for example overdue, stuck in the same status for a week or more, or not yet picked up from a role.
  4. Click a work item or client name to open it.

Ask about your day

Type a question in Ask about your day, for example “What should I do after lunch?”, and click Ask. The answer opens in the Ask ProCharted panel under the search box.

Refresh or close it

  • Refresh writes a new plan, for example after you’ve finished some work.
  • Collapse goes back to the one-line view. If you open your day, it stays open for the rest of the day. The next day it starts closed again.

Good to know

  • My view shows your own work. Admins can switch to Firm view at the top right of Home to see the whole firm, including who has the most work due this week.
  • If you only see your assigned clients, the plan only covers those clients.
  • The lists come from your firm’s data. The AI only picks the most important items and writes the summary. It never sends or changes anything.
  • Each new plan, including Refresh, counts as one of your 100 AI uses a day.
